Limburg appears ‘quiet enough’ for Einstein Telescope
The first measurements show that the ground of Limburg appears ‘quiet enough’ to house the Einstein Telescope. These measurements have been taken in the south of the Dutch province of Limburg, in order to investigate whether the ground is stable enough. More research is necessary to confirm its suitability and get a better understanding of the geology and seismic activity of the whole border region.
