Einstein Telescope on longlist Dutch National Growth Fund

The Einstein Telescope is one of 242 ideas on the 2021 longlist of the Dutch National Growth Fund. This fund consists of €20 billion, which the government will invest over five years in opportunities for sustainable and structural economic growth. The opportunities lie in three areas: knowledge development; research, development and innovation; and infrastructure. In the coming weeks, the ministries involved will examine which proposals fit well with the growth fund. By 1 July it will be clear whether the Einstein Telescope is eligible to develop a formal proposal.
