APPEC Tech Forum 2025

From 24 to 26 November 2025, Maastricht (the Netherlands) will host the international Appec Tech Forum Cryogenics and Vacuum – Academia meets Industry. The forum brings together scientists and industry representatives to work on the latest developments in cryogenics and vacuum technology.

The event is co-organised by Maastricht University in collaboration with CERN.

  • Knowledge sharing: immerse yourself in technical presentations and live demos of cryogenics and vacuum solutions.
  • Academia meets industry: meet international researchers, suppliers and high-tech companies.
  • Collaboration: discover opportunities to participate in projects that require groundbreaking technologies.
  • Focus on the Einstein Telescope: discuss how your expertise and technology can contribute to one of Europe’s largest research facilities.

Einstein Telescope

Cryogenics and vacuum technology are key components for the operation of the Einstein Telescope. This forum will address solutions and innovations that are essential for making the telescope’s extremely sensitive measuring equipment operational. The interaction between science and industry makes this event particularly valuable for the further development of this large-scale research infrastructure.
