Big Science Industry Meeting
On 9 February 2026 BigScience.NL is organising a meeting at Mikrocentrum in Veldhoven for companies in the (high-tech) manufacturing industry with an interest in Big Science projects. Discover the opportunities offered by international research facilities and how Dutch companies can successfully tap into them.
What you can expect:
- Gain insight into developments and tendering opportunities at international Big Science organisations.
- Hear from Ceratec, Hexagon and Sioux Technologies how collaboration with Big Science works — including opportunities and challenges.
- Get to know the BigScience.NL network of Industrial Liaison Officers (ILO) and the Brainport community.
- Join the networking drinks reception and talk to ILOs and fellow companies (made possible by LIOF and BOM).
Einstein Telescope
The Einstein Telescope is presented as one of the Big Science opportunities. Sioux Technologies — R&D partner within the NGF-ET programme — shares experiences from their involvement and shows the opportunities this offers for suppliers and technology companies.
